  Okay, demote me to newbie status i guess :)

 I solved the problem with my bone positions not being recorded...I forgot
to push 'r' from layout...duhhh!!
just setting the bone active doesn;t do the trick..the secret is pushin 'r'
from layout :)...of course it was in the manual! duhhh..boot to the head! OH
YES! ;)
